My Finder now opens every folder scrolled to about 2/3 of the way down instead of all the way on the bottom or top. I end up scrollign 20-30 pages long each time I want to do anything. Yay macOS27!

Meanwhile haven't found an actual new feature yet

You mean PR to get more publicity

Tell us how you know we are not at the top of this trend yet please

Because the benchmarks are stilling going up fairly rapidly. There are rumors of RSI. We are not at the top definitely.

And then the following trend will be humanoids and similar and they are barely getting started.

Every $1 it invests brings back $100

Mega eyeroll

God heavens. It's worse than 2000/2001!

Gotta start selling my portfolio

Well one has to look a level up and ask who the people are who hire such people and why

What a huge waste for humanity

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of actual end customers/humans (i.e. not bot farms or paid for actors) who click are not clicking on purpose. I've seen so many bad Android apps that have performance issues where content is still rendering and by the time you've tapped on where you go an add banner/link loaded up and registered you clicking on that. Zero purchase ever done but numerous 'ad clicks' generated

Huge outside the US where people live in small places and use public transport rather than living in mansions with big TVs and be in a car (no phone use) all day.

Then they'd be seriously dumb people to buy an otherwise inferior (too thick, too heavy, bad cameras, small screen) device for $2000 to just use that outer screen alone

It was even more American over the top Marketing which really doesn't work well in the rest of world.

We laughed out loud when they claimed "the controls on the side let you celebrate your pictures on your lockscreen more"

Yea it's nice we can put whatever picture on a phone's lockscreen. It really is. Every phone does that.

Not once have I CELEBRATED my picture tho.

Open a bottle of champagne anyone?

I think it's always been the way they talk. When they were introducing Apple News, they were talking as if the fonts and colours were something absolutely revolutionary and talking about the "beautiful typography" and breathtaking style, when in fact it is just a web page.

I think it's a cultural thing to promote everything as absolutely amazing and astounding. Just being "good" is never enough, and it's wearying.

I get that but the sheer ridiculousness of a total non-feature (moving the torch/flashlight icon from the left to the right, which takes 2 seconds to "develop") selling as some kind of accomplishment is bad enough. Telling me this will allow me to "celebrate my picture" was so stupid I couldn't even bother listening to the rest of the sales pitch

Don't charge me 2000-3800$ and insult my intelligence with stuff like this

I celebrated your reply.

(No, I don't know what "celebrate" is meant to mean either! It's daft!)

>Open a bottle of champagne anyone?

Over the top European celebration that doesn't translate to the rest of the world. Especially countries in the Middle East that don't drink.
