If this were true, the DoJ would have been unable to prosecute Swartz. According to your logic, JSTOR was the aggrieved party. JSTOR settled with Swartz and -despite that- he was indicted by a Federal grand jury like a month later.

Incidentally, some of the things the DoJ nailed Swartz to the wall for sound awfully similar to what the big LLM providers have been doing. I wonder why the DoJ is entirely disinterested in pressing charges...

The principal is a very cool bit of technology. There are authoritative blindness and eyesight medical institutions that are claiming this technology is great for people suffering from eye issues.

well, actually I had tested in iphone and did some things to but back on mesh size & also streaming terrain so that I'm not overrendering textures. Where does it end though? The most optimistic (or pessimistic, depending on your viewpoint) say that AI will be able to replace or displace lots of professions. Is there enough work for everyone? Is there enough meaningful work for everyone? A software engineer or accountant making ~150k a year will find another job that pays less, so he will also pay less taxes. What's going to happen in the short term, inbetween this shift? A bunch of unhappy unemployed people leaning on social systems. That seems pretty devastating. Who is going to come out as winners?

With enough steering, I can get a cheap low-capability model to do things correctly in most cases as well. But why bother?

You can tell it to write high quality code, to test things, and to come up with a proper rollout plan of a feature. Or it could just do it by default.

I know where I'm putting my money in that case.
